Elena Trombini

Vice-Rector for Students (2015-2021), University of Bologna. She was Vice-Rector and subsequently Head of the Organizational Unit of the Department of Psychology of Bologna. She teaches in the degree programs of Psychology, Medicine, Health Professions, Pedagogy, as well as in Postgraduate Specialisation Schools and academic Masters. She's currently member of both the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP) - section of clinical and dynamic psychology and the University Professors' College of Dynamic Psychology. She set up the Psychological Consultation Service for children and parents and the “Dina Vallino” research laboratory for the study of psychotherapies in developmental age (Department of Psychology). Her clinical and research activities revolve around clinical child (prematurity, oncology, eating and evacuative behavioral disorders), and adult (obesity, psychological distress and emotional intelligence, parenting) psychology with a main focus on the development of psychodiagnostic methods and psychotherapeutic intervention.
