1. Technologies in children's daily life
In collaboration with CeMET Research Center on Education, Media and Technologies
Survey on how families, educators in 0-3 years old services and kindergarten teachers use, interpret, share new generation technologies, and analysis of possible educational use models of apps and tablets in early childhood education services. The approach used is that of research-training, in a cyclical process that alternates moments of investigation, training sessions and testing of apps, observation tools, evaluation, with a role of support and monitoring by university researchers.

2. Index for inclusion and empowerment
The research aims to develop an adaptation of the Index for inclusion (created by the Center for Studies on Inclusive Education -CSIE) by enriching the concept of inclusion with that of empowerment, experimenting it in school and community contexts with a research-training approach.
Research in progress: research is currently taking place in Palestine, both in the West Bank and Gaza, in projects financed by AICS and coordinated by the NGO EducAid.
3. The influence of communication exchanges mediated by digital contexts on the relationship dynamics between parents / teachers and parents / parents
The project intends to investigate, through the Teacher Professional Development Research methodology, how communicative exchanges mediated by digital contexts are able to influence the relational dynamics between teachers / parents and parents / parents. The context in which the research is currently taking place is an entire institute in the Bologna area.
4. The quality of teaching in university contexts (higher education)
Projects in progress:
Erasmus + KA2 project "Equitable access to higher education for students with disabilities and students from marginalized groups in Nepal / EATHEN" (2019-2022). The objectives are: to improve inclusive management practices and access to higher education for people with disabilities and for people from marginalized groups and regions in Nepal; support Nepalese universities in the development of centres for the support of disability and for the inclusion of marginalized people.
Video analysis as a tool to improve the quality of teaching in university contexts. AcademicsProfessional Development Research methodologyproject of the University of Bologna to improve the quality of university teaching through the use of video analysis and the application of the Educational Evaluation model.
Erasmus + KA2 project "Forth Formation of teachers in emerging challenged areas in the Philippines" (2018-2021): the objectives are to improve the training of in service teachers in the Philippines (disadvantaged areas) through the creation of a Master on didactic innovation, classroom management, assessment, networking; create a support network between the Ministry of Education in the Philippines, local universities, the Association of teachers and educators in the Philippines and European universities.
5. Support for the promotion and development of the inclusive school in El Salvador
The project, active since 2009, is funded by AICS in partnership with MINEDUCYT (Ministerio de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología in El Salvador). The main objectives of the project are: 1. to promote an inclusive school model in El Salvador; 2. enhance the social role of the school by raising the awareness of institutions for the social inclusion of all; 3. to contribute to improving the professional quality of teachers. The methodological approach used is that of research-action, with theoretical, training, monitoring and experimental moments.
