I am a professor in Business Economics, my central interest is the study of how large companies ma prosper without harming the resilience of democratic institutions.
I teach one course in Corporate Governance and one course in Corporate Responsibility and Business Ethics.
At the gist of my research is the idea that we need to work at improving the fairness of economic systems by developing new institutional arrangements and mechanisms of governance able to better regulate the interplay between large companies and societies.
Along these lines, I am currently pincipal investigator of the INCA project(INcrease Corporate political responsibility and Accountability). The project is funded by the European Union within the Horizon Europe research framework. The aim of the research project is to take issue with the political influence that large digital platforms wield on the European institutions and societies.
