Eleonora Monaco

Eleonora Monaco is Senior Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Management of the University of Bologna. In addition, she is also Adjunct Professor at Bologna Business School and Invited Assistant Professor at Católica Porto Business School, where she worked as faculty member, and currently CEGE researcher.

She holds a PhD in Management at the University of Chieti-Pescara, and worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Accounting & Capital Markets at Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre in Sydney. She has been visiting scholar at University of Edinburgh Business School and Queensland University of Technology.

She has held the role of Liaison Officer at European Capital Markets CRC, and she is currently the Continental Network Officer of the British Academy of Management-Financial Management Group.

She is in the Editorial Boards of The International Journal of Accounting, and Accounting in Europe. Her research interests include Capital Market-based research in Accounting, Narrative Accounting, M&A and Earnings Quality.
