Emanuele Menegatti is a Full Professor of Labour Law and Jean Monnet Chair in European Social Policy. He has been a visiting professor at many foreign universities, including China University of Political Science and the Law (Beijing), the Hastings College of Law at the University of California (San Francisco), the College of Law at the University of Illinois (USA), Sydney University Law School, and an Adjunct Professor at Curtin University Law School (Perth, Australia). His main areas of expertise are comparative labor law and European Union labor law. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal "Italian Labour Law e-Journal". He is also a co-editor of the books "The Sources of Labour Law" (Kluwer Law, The Hague, 2019) and "Decent Work in the Digital Age" (Hart Publishing, 2022). He has authored over 90 publications in books, national, and international journals. He is a member of the Doctoral College in European Law at the University of Bologna. He has served as the president of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Bologna. Currently, he is the President of the Forlì Campus Board at the University of Bologna.
