Graduated in 2013 in Safety and Quality of Animal Production at the University of Bologna, in 2018 she obtained a PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Science and Technology; Curriculum Zootechnical Sciences, at the same University. The principal field of work is animal husbandry. The main research interests are related to the study of feed and nutritional aspects (zootechnical additives and nutritional needs) for improving robustness and the production performance of monogastric animals and their environmental sustainability. A particular interest is also the interaction between the intestinal microbiota and the intestinal health of the host. To date, I have participated in 3 European projects (PiGutNet, Circles, RoadMap and Tailscan), two national project (3IMPACT, BOOSTcolostrum) and regional projects and I am author of several publications in international scientific journals.
