Degree in Pharmacy and later in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and
Technology. Ph.D. in Food Chemistry and Technology. Master in
“Expert in Industrial Hygiene and Safety”. Management consulting
for the health and safety in the workplace, the environment (waste
management and disposal) and for organizing and implementing the
plans of self-control according to HACCP in food industries. Since
2001 he worked at ARPA (Agenzia Regionale Prevenzione e Ambiente
dell'Emilia Romagna), Bologna Provincial Chamber, Territorial
Service. Initially he was responsible for evaluation of atmospheric
emissions of industrial plants and controlling the management of
waste by companies, especially those appointed to their recovery
and final disposal. For some years working mainly for waste
management of contaminated sites following the various stages of
remediation activities and analysis of risk of the contaminants. As
part of control activity, he collaborates with ARPA Integrated
Laboratory, Analytical Environmental Area, for the characterization
and definition of hazardous waste.
From 2009 to 2015, following an agreement ARPA-Provincial
administration, worked, as technical reference, with the
Environment Sector of the Bologna Provincial administration, for
preparation of technical and environmental investigations aimed at
permitting procedures laid down in the Remediation of contaminated
sites (characterization, risk assessment, remediation project).
For several years, he is called upon to conduct seminars on the
HACCP application in food industries and on issues related to waste
management by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Degree in Pharmaceutical
Chemistry and Technology, Universityof Bologna.
Since 2008, he is a lecturer teaching of Environmental and Food
Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Bologna, Rimini
University town.
