After graduating in Political Science, he got a PhD in History of Political Parties and Movements at the University of Urbino. Since 2010, he has been an Adjunct Lecturer in History of Tourism and History of Tourism Consumptions and Enterprises at the University of Bologna. From 2017 to February 2023, he was a Research Fellow at the University's Center for Advanced Studies on Tourism (CAST), and since March 2023, he is Researcher in Economic History at the Department of Quality of Life Sciences. His topics range from business history to tourism history. He has been particularly dedicated to topics concerning the generational shift in businesses, the history of beach customs and the phenomenon of "Romagna Land of Motors." He is currently involved in the implementation of some cultural itineraries.
