My main area of research currently focuses on English travel literature from the Grand Tour, specifically addressing women's travel literature. My main chronological period of interest can be found, principally, in the mid-to-late 18th and early-to-mid 19th centuries. Generally, my research tends to emphasise both the literary output and philosophical ruminations of the Romantic period.

Within my research on travel literature, there is another field of study that I gravitate towards, which is that of art history and criticism. I value highly the connection between these disciplines, and their combined study represents the core of my multidisciplinary approach.
