Dario Spelta, Bologna, Italy, November 1st, 1961, graduated
in
1) Economics, on October, 29th, 1984, maxima cum laude, thesis:
mathematical pension schemes in italy before and after 1982;
2) Politics, on November, 23rd, 1989, thesis: a bayesian model for
an actuarial time series;
3) Modern history, on March, 15th, 2002, maxima cum laude, thesis:
actuarial mathemtics in the seventeenth century;
4) Foreign languages, on September, 13rd, 2006, maxima cum laude,
thesis: the works of André João Antonil.
2. Academic career
Since 1989 he teaches at the Faculty of Economics of University of
Bologna.
Meanwhile he also taught mathemtical topics at the Faculties of
Politics, and Computer sciences.
He taught at the University of Catania since 1997 until 2003.
He taught Insurance science at the Master in financial and
insurance risks at the University of Nostra signora del buon
consiglio in Tirana (Albania).
