Profile
PhD in Aerospace Science and Technology, conducting research on Fe–Si electrical steels for magnetic applications, with a particular focus on the relationship between chemical composition, microstructure, crystallographic texture, manufacturing processes, and functional magnetic properties.
His research focuses on the investigation of the microstructural and textural evolution of Fe–Si steel sheets subjected to plastic deformation and heat treatments, using advanced characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). He also investigates the relationship between metallurgical features and magnetic performance, including first magnetization behavior, magnetic losses, and the modeling of static and dynamic hysteresis loops.
His research interests include the development of experimental and modeling approaches to understand the influence of microstructure, crystallographic texture, and processing parameters on the magnetic behavior of electrical steels.
