Curriculum vitae

She was born in Arezzo, in 06/05/1965. She graduated in Philosophy at the University of Firenze in 29/11/1991. Since 2004, she has been a Special Pedagogy adjunct professor at the University of Bologna, dealing with PAS, TFA, “Corso aggiuntivo per il sostegno”, “Laboratorio di pedagogia speciale”. Since 2010, she has worked as supervisor and Emilia Romagna coordinator of IERPOF (Istituto Europeo di Ricerca Formazione e Orientamento Professionale), which is an important educational and research center focused on disability. From 2004 to 2011, she cooperated with the University of Bologna as a teaching assistant for deaf students in the “Servizio studenti disabili e dislessici”. From 2003 to 2010 she worked as project developer, coordinator, educator, institutional member of “Fondazione gualandi a favore dei sordi”, collaborating with several schools. From 2007 to 2010 she directed updating courses for support teachers at the University of San Marino. From 2005 to 2010 she also directed updating courses for full teachers, support teachers as well as ATA staff members in many different schools throughout Emilia Romagna. In 2008 she was a teacher of the Italian sign language seminar of the “Studies in Modern Languages for Interpreting and Translation” post graduate school, at the University of Bologna. In 2006 she was also a teacher of the master school “Technology and quality of life” related to people with disabilities. From 1998 to 2011 she carried out educational and advisory activities in plenty of schools cooperating with headmasters, teachers, and doctors, about designing, monitoring, and assessing learning processes and training courses, as well as life perspectives of people with sensorial and learning disabilities. She attended many seminars about hearing disabilities as a speaker. She published several articles on journals and books.
