Purification of extracellular vesicles
The project involves the development of a purification process which is more efficient than the conventional process based on differential centrifugations.
Several strategies are under investigation, among those: subsequent membrane filtration, size exclusion chromatography and affinity membrane chromatography.
The research activity involves the comparison of the different processes in terms of process times/selectivity/purity/integrity and fuctionality of the purified vesicles.
