Cristian Cafarella

Cristian Cafarella is a Ph.D. student at the Doctoral School in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences (DIMSAI) of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. Currently, his research focuses on the design and control of renewable energy plants, on the efficient use of energy in production and logistics processes, and on sustainable development issues. In particular, he explores new models and methods to maximize the use of renewables in a multi-objective perspective.

The research of Cristian Cafarella is supported by a PhD scholarship within the Programma Operativo Nazionale Ricerca e Innovazione 2014–2020 (CCI 2014IT16M2OP005), risorse FSE REACT-EU, Azione IV.4 “Dottorati e contratti di ricerca su tematiche dell’innovazione” e Azione IV.5 “Dottorati su tematiche Green”.
