Trained as an economist, he works in the fields of big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, focusing on agriculture, economics, and sustainable agri-food systems. He collaborates on national and international multidisciplinary projects centered on processes, methodologies, and techniques for advanced data management and analysis.
He provides consultancy and corporate training in Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. As the author of various scientific publications, he collaborates with research institutions, ministries (Mipaaf, MAE), and CIHEAM Bari on European research projects and international cooperation initiatives related to sustainability, territorial development, and the enhancement of agri-food chains.
In 2004, he obtained a degree in Business Economics from the University of Bari, and in 2006, he attended the Master's program in Organic Certification of Agri-food Systems at the University of Bologna. In 2010, after a period at the Agriculture and Food Market Research, Institute for Food and Resource Economics at the University of Bonn, he earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Food Economics and Policy, also in Bologna. In 2016, he attended the Master's program in Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
