My research activity since 1999 until today has mainly focussed on the legal issues connected with the Internet, the Information Society and the development and use of new technologies.

The main research topics since 2002 include: Virtual Enterprises, ICT-enabled business networks and B2B on-line collaborations, legal informatics in the professional practice, software agents and electronic commerce, trust and law in the information society, security, privacy and data protection, intellectual property rights, software, data bases and multimedia, alternative dispute resolution and on-line dispute resolution, intelligent rule-based systems for legal and business applications, e-governance, e-inclusion.

The main research topics from 1999 to 2002 include: Electronic commerce, electronic contracts, on-line dispute resolution, digital signatures and electronic documents, electronic government, privacy and data protection, computer crimes.
