Cinzia Bevitori is Associate Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the DIT Department and teaches Corpus-assisted Discourse studies (LM-SpecTra), Analysis of Political Language (LM-SID), and Academic Writing and Public Speaking in the Bachelor in International Studies (BIS). Her research interests span corpus linguistics, critical discourse studies, corpus-assisted discourse analysis, systemic functional linguistics, appraisal theory, and ecolinguistics, with a particular focus on institutional, political, and media discourse, as well as climate change and environmental discourse.
She is Vice-Director of the Interuniversity Research Centre DIS-4Change, member of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre Corpora, Linguistics and Technology Lab - CoLiTec, member of Interdepartmental Centre on European Studies – CeSiPe.
