Christian Conficoni obtained a master's degree in Electronic Engineering with honors at the University of Bologna in 2008. In December of the same year he obtained the qualification to practice as an Engineer. In 2013 he obtained the PhD in Automatica at the same University. Since 2022 he has been a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Bologna. His research interests include the following topics: nonlinear and saturated control methods and adaptive observers with practical applications to industrial cases (e.g., electric drives, power electronics systems), modeling and optimal/predictive control for thermal and power management of complex systems (e.g., multicore processors, process industry plants).
