Curriculum vitae

Prof. Coluccia carries out her research in the field of Italian linguistics and the history of the Italian language. Her research interests are aimed in particular at the vocabulary and lexicography of Italian. Research is currently focusing on specialised languages and Dante's lexicon.

Education

She graduated in Pisa in History of the Italian language and was awarded her PhD in Romance Philology and Linguistics at the University of Naples "Federico II".

Academic career

She was a tenured researcher at the University of Salento and at the University of Bologna as well as a contract professor at the universities of Pisa, Siena and Bari.

Scientific activity

She has been taking part in numerous research programs including: PRIN 2017 AtLiTeG (Atlante della lingua e dei testi della cultura gastronomica italiana dall’età medievale all’Unità), PRIN 2007 SALVIT (Studio, Archivio e Lessico dei Volgarizzamenti Italiani); PRIN 2005 CASVI (Censimento, Archivio e Studio dei Volgarizzamenti Italiani; she was Research Fellow and Collaborator at the Lessico Etimologico Italiano - LEI (Germany) and at the CNR Opera del Vocabolario Italiano (Florence).
