Main research topics:
The main research topics take into consideration the double
biological role of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). The first
research line focuses on ROS particularly derived from NAD(P)H
oxidases (Nox family) in biosignalling in particular in leukemic
cells; the second one deals with the preventive role of natural and
synthetic antioxidants in oxidative stress, particularly in
membrane lipid alterations.
