Short Bio

I am currently working on my dissertation on public finances in Burgundy and Savoy during the late Middle Ages within a cotutelle agreement with the University of Paris 1. In june 2023 I obtained a master in Archival Science, Paleography, and Diplomatics (Post-grad School of the State Archives in Bologna). In 2021 I was awarded an Erasmus+ Traineeship grant to take part in the research activities at the University of Málaga, where I was attached to the Department of History. In november 2020 I graduated cum laude in History and Civilizations at the University of Pisa  with a study of the financial system of the Commune of Siena in the early 13th century. From 2015 to 2020 I held a scholarship at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, where I obtained my second master's degree in History and Paleography (100 cum laude) with an essay on financial institutions in Northern Italy (early 13th century).
