Short Bio

  1. Disciple of Ezio Raimondi and Andrea Battistini, I obtained my PhD on 10 June 1988 (IX cycle) with the following thesis:
    The judge and the speaker. Luck and transformation of the epittic genre in the eighteenth century, with this judgment:

    thesis research: very original

    1 March 2005 I take up service as a permanent researcher at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the University of Bologna.

    From 19 September 2008 I received confirmation in the role with the following motivation: "A solid and extensive methodological preparation leads to an uncommon attention to rhetorical and thematic aspects and to the investigation of the deep links between society and literary imagery".

    From 1st August 2018 I have been in possession of the national qualification for the role of II level professor.

    From 9 October 2019 I took up service as Associate Professor of Didactics of Italian Literature and Literature and Rhetoric.

    Internationally, I have participated as a speaker at conferences at Paris-Sorbonne IV, Freie Universität of Berlin, Ucla Los Angeles, University of Warsaw, University of Grenoble-Alpes, University of Santiago de Compostela.
