Antonio Francesco Maturo

My research interests ara basically linked to the Sociology of health. I started doing research on health organization and later on I worked on patient's experience of chronic illness (mainly cancer). After that I have dedicated several articles on the phenomenon of medicalization and also on digital sociology. For several years I have been teaching Sociology of Medicine at Brown University and this led me to analyze several aspects of the US health care system. Go to the Curriculum vitae
