Antonio Martini born in Bologna, October 9, 1965, since 2004 is
Entomologist researcher at the Department of Agroenvironmental
Sciences and Technologies (DiSTA), of the faculty of Agricultural
Sciences, Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
Degrees:
Laurea with honours in agricultural Sciences (University of
Bologna) (1994).
Post-graduate degree in Phytopathology (1997)
PhD in Agricultural Entomology (2002)
Didactics:
Teacher and member of the Committee of the PhD
in Agricultural Entomology.
Lecturer of “Insect physiology and biochemistry” and “Stored
product entomology”.
Supervisor/co-supervisor of degree and PhD theses.
Other activities:
Executive Editor of the journal “Bulletin of
Insectology” (ISSN-8861).

“Influence of ecdysone and thiosugars on the development and
