She is a research fellow in M-PED/01 at the University of Bologna's Department of Philosophy, working within the UNESCO Chair in Global Citizenship Education.
Her research focuses on Global Citizenship Education (GCE), paying particular attention to the participation of adolescents and young people. She is currently investigating the potential for incorporating GCE into secondary school civic education programmes, as well as exploring the connection between intergenerational justice and global education from critical and decolonial perspectives.
She holds a PhD in Culture, Education and Communication from Roma Tre University (2023) and obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the second level (sector 11/D1) in November 2025. She is a tutor on the General Pedagogy course and a member of the International Research Centre on Global Citizenship Education.
