Description:: The Centre is a non-profit research organization working in the area of health promotion focused on the social determinants of health and especially contributing for the reduction of health inequalities. The mission of the organization is to produce innovative intervention research to improve the health status of the population, with an emphasis in nutrition and health education action on health determinants and risk factors linked with non-communicable diseases. In collaboration for the realization of projects: Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI) Portugal and Europe - World Health Organization (WHO).

Description:: The Center for Advanced Studies on the Humanization of Care and Social Health (CeUmS) carries out research on sociology of health in various fields (digital, chronicity, inequalities). It promotes didactic activities in the form of masters, summer/winter schools and is active in organizing seminars and conferences. It is also placed in a 'glocal' dimension, that is, it combines international activities with a strong focus on the territory. The Center supports the editors of the scientific review "Salute e Società" and the series "Benessere Tecnologia Società" (FrancoAngeli Editor). The Center is closely connected with the institutional activities relating to the development plan of Romagna Salute and of Alma Mater University.
