Information about the Written Exam for Non-attending students in the January/February exam sessions
Non-attending students are advised that both the Crime & Insecurity exam and the Transnational Complex Crimes exam in the January/February exam sessions will consist of a written test lasting approximately 40-45 minutes, comprising (a few) multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions. The open-ended questions might ask students to frame an international security and international criminology issue (in the case of TCC related to drug trafficking) using the theories and approaches covered in the course. Students might be asked to offer a brief expert commentary after reading a short scenario/description of the facts. The topic will be taken from one of the book chapters.
The exam will be on Virtuale and will be marked on the spot before the oral exam.
Please note: If you are an NON-ATTENDING ERASMUS student who MUST take the exam by December due to the end of your learning agreement, this also applies to you in December.
