Info on the in-class exam for students enrolled in the course Crime and (In)Security in Europe (or Law & Order)
Students are advised that due to the high number of students enrolled in the course, the midterm exam for attending students will be in written form. The exam will last about two hours and will be held on Thursday, December 11; if you are unable to attend on the 11th, you may also take the exam on Friday, December 12.
Details about the exam are available on this website under ‘Teaching’. The exam will be held in class, using a computer or handwritten, to be handed in or sent by email to Prof. Sergi. There will be exercises in class.
Students will have to prepare a problem mapping exercise with a case that will be given in class from the course topics or other chapters of the textbook. Students will have the week before the exam free from classes in this course to prepare for the exam, and only the textbook will be allowed in class. Professor Sergi will then release the grades, which will then be held until the oral exams in the new year.
Erasmus students who must take the exam by December are asked to contact the professor; the exam will be held on the same dates as for attending students. If you are not attending, and there is no time on the same dates, the full exam will be held on the following Monday or Tuesday (December 15-16) with arrangements to be agreed upon depending on the number of students.
