Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Heritage, she obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification for Full Professorship in Contemporary History.
She has conducted research at several prestigious international research institutions and served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Padua.
She holds a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA) in History and Civilization from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, and a PhD in History and Civilization from the European University Institute. She was awarded research fellowships at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme and the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in Paris.
She is a member of several international research groups. Her research interests include the history of labour cultures in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, world exhibitions, the history of images and representations, and the history of women in the contemporary era.
She is currently the coordinator of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ project Arts and Politics: European Cultural Heritage Policies between Old and New Values (HEURITAGE).
