Curriculum vitae

Adjunct professor at the University of Bologna since 2022, she carries out her research in the field of topological architecture and the multi-scale relationship between the components of the urban fabric. The research interests, starting from the PhD experience at the IUAV University of Venice with a thesis on the Friulian architect Marcello D'Olivo, move towards the deepening of geometry understood as a tool for critical re-reading of the construction project up to the decoding of the settlement attitudes of large-scale urban contexts. She also explores the theme of the redevelopment of the European city through a research grant at the Department of Architecture of Cesena from which related publications follow.

Training

Graduated in Architecture for the New and the Ancient in 2016 at the IUAV University of Venice, she obtained the PhD in Architectural Composition at the IUAV Doctoral School of Venice in 2021.

Academic career

After several years of collaboration in teaching, conducted in parallel with the PhD course, from 2022 to 2023 she was appointed a research fellowship at the Department of Architecture of Cesena, where she organizes international seminars, carries out research activities and participates in various publications . Since 2022 she has also been a contract professor and holder of the Architectural Design module within the Structuring the City by Design LAB laboratory, still in existence. She continues to conduct scientific research and teaching collaboration relationships both with the IUAV University of Venice and with the Cesena Department of Architecture. In May 2023, she published the monograph "Marcello D'Olivo and topological architecture", the result of her doctoral course.
