Post-PhD researcher at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences, she conducts research in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Her scientific activity focuses on the development and validation of innovative LC-MS/MS-based analytical methods for the quantification of drugs, contaminants, and endogenous molecules in animal biological fluids, including plasma, serum, seminal plasma, urine, and milk, as well as in environmental and inorganic matrices.
She collaborates with colleagues from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the University of Bologna on pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies, endocrine and nephrological diagnostics, and therapeutic drug monitoring, with particular emphasis on antibiotics in different animal species. Her research contributes to the development of innovative pharmacological and analytical approaches in veterinary medicine, supporting a One Health perspective through improved drug safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and animal health management.
