Angelo Massafra

PhD Student in Architecture and Design Cultures at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and teaching tutor in Technical Architecture and Sustainable Building Design for the degree course Building Engineering and Architecture and Civil Engineering. He graduated in Building Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna in 2020. Since 2019 he has collaborated with building engineering studios as BIM-BPS Consultant.

As a building engineer and architect with a passion for information technologies and historical buildings, his research activity focuses on innovative digital methods for assessing, renovating, and managing heritage buildings. In particular, his interests interweave technical architecture, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Building Performance Simulation (BPS) and Digital Twins (DT).
