Teaching Activity
Angela Montanari teaches in the field of business administration at the University of Bologna, where she is Lecturer in Business Administration and Organization, and in executive programs at BBS – Bologna Business School and other leading business schools. Her teaching, delivered in master’s and advanced programs also in English, focuses on corporate finance, strategic control, governance and risk management, with an approach aimed at integrating theory and practical application.
Professional Activity
A business economist with over 35 years of experience, she has developed a solid professional background in strategy, finance, governance, planning and control. She has held senior roles in administration, finance and control in both multinational and domestic contexts and works as a strategic advisor and fractional executive, supporting entrepreneurs, management teams and governing bodies in growth, transformation and organizational restructuring processes. She is active in board advisory, corporate governance and organizational development, with particular expertise in strategic control systems and decision-making processes.
Educational Background
She holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna and an Executive MBA from Bologna Business School, along with several executive programs in corporate governance, sustainability (ESG) and coaching. She is a Chartered Accountant, Statutory Auditor and Sustainability Auditor, as well as an ICF-certified coach (ACC) and a registered Innovation Manager with the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MiMIT).
