Graduated with honors (cum laude) in Building Engineering in 2000 in Bologna, where he subsequently earned his PhD in Architecture in 2015 with a dissertation on the preservation of memory in sites of deportation. In 2022, he completed a Level II Master’s degree in Innovation Management and Communities.
Since 2000, he has contributed to courses in Architectural Composition as an Adjunct Professor and tutor. He has been invited as a guest lecturer to workshops at the Azrieli School of Architecture in Ottawa, the Neri Bloomfield School of Design in Haifa, the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux, and the Łódź University of Technology.
He has published essays in the journal Casabella and within volumes published by Peter Lang, LetteraVentidue, and BUP (Bologna University Press). He works as a freelance professional specializing in architecture and urban design. In 2009, he co-founded the firm LBLA - Lelli Bandini Luccaroni Architettura: their projects have been featured in leading industry journals (such as Casabella, Domus, Area, and Costruire) and exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2010, 2014, and 2025.
