Circuits and systems for In-memory computing based on phase-change memories

My research activity focuses on the design of integrated circuits and data processing systems with phase-change memories, whose use is particularly promising in the field of in-memory computing. Possible applications of these architectures to neural networks, compressed-sensing and brain computing will also be explored, where standard calculation operations (sums, matrix products and vectors) are required in large quantities. To this purpose, a deep characterization of phase-changing cells will be carried out, in order to allow suitable multilevel-memory operations. This purpose is carried out together with my colleague Alessio Antolini
