Curriculum vitae

PhD Student in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Science and Technology (Cycle 38) at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences, University of Bologna, since November 2022. He conducts his research in the area of Fruit Trees Ecophysiology, for production and sustainability improvement in fruit growing. He currently works on light and microenvironment effects on the physiological efficiency of Actinidia.

 

Professional experiences

  • February 2022 - October 2022

Scholarship at the DiSTAL, University of Bologna. Main research activities: i) Studies on apricot water relations and fruit growth mechanisms; ii) Effects of multifunctional covers on sweet cherry physiological efficiency.

 

Education

  • September 2019 - December 2021

Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at the University of Bologna. Grade: 110/110 cum Laude. Thesis title: "Physiological characterization of apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) fruit growth through its vascular and transpiration flows".

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technologies at the University of Bologna. Grade: 110/110 cum Laude. Thesis title: "Valutazione di efficacia di prodotti impiegati per il contenimento di marciume bruno da Monilinia spp. su colture di pesco e ciliegio dell’Emilia-Romagna" (italian).
