Andrea Boeri

Full Professor in Architectural Technology, University of Bologna. Head of the Department of Architecture, University of Bologna, 2015-2021. Coordinator and member of scientific research groups at national and international level. Scientific Director of the "OFF_line laboratory" (Laboratory for architectural technology innovation and energy efficiency).

His research covers a broad range of topics such as environmental sustainability and quality of buildings and urban systems, architectural technologies, materials performances and construction elements.

His fields of expertise are: innovation technologies, energy efficiency and sustainable buildings, smart and resilient cities, climate responsive strategies in regeneration processes at building and district scale.

Author of more than 130 publications (books, chapters, essays and articles for international journals) on subjects related to his research topics.
