Alessia Zampini is a Researcher in Architectural Restoration at the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on the protection of monuments in times of war and the resulting reconstruction practices, heritage-making processes developed together with heritage communities and strategies for the conservation of dissonant heritage.
She teaches in Italy and abroad, is the author of books and scientific articles, is a member of SIRA, AISU, ResPRO, EFFORT Europe, and the Armenian Society of Fellows; participates as an expert in the Action Group Integrated Approaches to Dissonant Heritage (Urban Agenda for the EU).
