Keywords: numerical methods for non-linear, non-differentiable and non-convex optimization inverse problems in imaging non-convex non-differentiable regularization data-driven space-variant regularization Convex-NonConvex Variational Models supervised and unsupervised classification automatic barcode reading automatic motion detection and tracking in video sequences

Main research topics:

1) Study of numerical regularization methods for the solution of large-scale discrete ill-posed inverse problems.

2) Study of numerical methods for the solution of large-scale linear and non-linear, differentiable and non-differentiable, convex and non-convex, constrained and unconstrained, optimization problems.

3) Study, development and application of Machine Learning approaches (supervised and unsupervised classification) to the robust and efficient automatic reading of 1D and 2D barcodes.

4) Automatic motion detection and tracking in video sequences.
