Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (DIFA) of the University of Bologna, he carries out research in the field of neutrino physics to understand the mechanism beneath the generation of their masses; he studies the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe and its dynamical generation at early epochs; he is interested in dark matter and its possible particle nature. His research also focuses on interdisciplinary aspects between particle physics and astrophysics.

Visitor at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU), University of Tokyo, Kashiwanoha, Kashiwa-shi, Chiba, Japan. The collaboration, of two months (15/01-15/03/2023), is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchange grant agreement No. 101086085 - ASYMMETRY.

Working Experiences and Other Activities

He did academic tutoring activity with frontal lessons and exercises in class for the courses of Linear Algebra, Analysis I and Physics I to the first-year students of Information Engineering at the University of Padua.

He Worked with Zanichelli to correct exercises of a book of Physics written for high-school students.

He was the representative of the Ph.D.~students in Astroparticle Physics (APP) at SISSA for the years 2020/2022.

Other interests

Lead singer, guitarist and lyricist in the Italian progressive rock band named Tacita Intesa. Recorded two albums: the first one self-titled released on 1st June 2014; the second one, named FARO, published on November 2018.
