Dr Alessandro Broccoli (MD, PhD) has mainly focused his career on lymphoproliferative disorders, with a particular interest in Hodgkin lymphoma, aggressive and indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and hairy cell leukemia.
He is currently Senior Assistant Professor in Hematology at the Institute of Hematology “Lorenzo e Ariosto Seràgnoli” at the University of Bologna, which represents a point of reference for many Italian hematology institutions.
He has authored several book chapters, with contributions in the latest editions of Hoffman Hematology (Elsevier), Postgraduate Haematology (Wiley-Blackwell) and Williams Hematology (McGraw-Hill). He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed papers, and serves as reviewer for several journals. He has also participated as a speaker in Italian and international events.
