Alessandro Albano, a
fter graduating in accounting at "Pier Crescenzi" Technical School in 1996, with full marks, in 2000/2001 A.Y. achieved the University degree in Law at University of Bologna, discussing his thesis in Civil Law, with a 110/110 vote and honors.
On November 2006 he took part in the competition for admission to the PhD program in European Tax Law held to University of Bologna, chaired by Prof. Adriano Di Pietro; he was admitted, with scholarship, to the XXII cycle of the aforementioned Doctoral Course.
On 2011 he achieved the Ph. D. in European tax law, discussing the thesis on "Administrative tax penalties between Community law and national regimes", before the examining committee composed by Professors Jacques Malherbe, Fernando Fernandez Marin and Adriano Di Pietro (rapporteur) The Commission, unanimously, evaluates the doctoral thesis discussed as "excellent".
Since 2015 he's appointed as Academic Fellow of Bocconi University, teaching tax law in the Master in Business Tax Law organized by such University and since 2018 to LUISS Business School Master in Tax Law. He is author of numerous scientific contributions published in the main Italian and foreign scientific journals. He is qualified to practice as a lawyer since 2006.
He joined the Editorial board of Strumenti finanziari e Fiscalità, review edited by EGEA - University of Milan "L. Bocconi".
He's appointed to Research Project MIUR - PON “Energie per l’Ambiente” (PON RI 2014-2020; project code ARS01_00637) of University of Bari "A. Moro".
He worked, from 2004 to 2011, at the Italian Tax Authority, Regional Directorate of Emilia Romagna with the status of a tax official. Since 2011 he plays as tax lawyer.
He is a member of the IFA - International Fiscal Association.
He is also associated with the Chamber of Tax Lawyers of Bologna and the Italian Association of Social Economy Auditors.
Alessandro Albano has appointed as mermber of the Steering Committee of Fondazione Carisbo. He is also member of the Italian Association of Tax Law professors
