The research critically examines the relationship between material infrastructure, platform urbanism, and narratives of the future, developing the concepts of “speculative infrastructure” and “algorithmic suturing.” The findings will be presented in the volume Urban Infrastructuring: The Case of Bologna, featuring artistic contributions by Gianluca Costantini.
