Alessandro Campedelli

Short Bio

Graduated in Ancient History in 2004 at the University of Bologna, he obtained his PhD in Archeology in 2010.

Research fellow from 2011 to 2016, he was involved in Genesis and urban development in the Adriatic area, Urban planning and monumental development of Roman cities in the province of Dalmatia and Study and reconstruction of ancient public buildings.

Together with Prof. Giorgi, he directs the Italian Mission in Burnum (Croatia) which, since 2005, has been dealing with the reconstruction of the site through the use of integrated survey methodologies. Teaching assistant at the Topography Laboratory, he is involved in traditional and digital surveying, as well as in the treatment of 3D data and photographic derivation.

Since 2017 it has focused on 3D Computer Graphics applied to archaeological research and the use of 3D models as cognitive tools for the interpretation of remains and as a main element in scientific dissemination strategies thanks to a high level fellowship.
