Short Bio

Full Professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, he is qualified as a II level university professor in the field of Restoration and History of Architecture (2012-2025); he is a PhD in Conservation of Architectural Heritage (IV cycle). His main research area is the figure of L.B. Alberti, on whom he has published two monographs and numerous essays, participating in international conferences. Moreover, his fields of study are the history of modern and contemporary architecture, the theory and history of restoration, literature on cities and architecture and urban landscape photography. He is a member of the scientific committee of «Anfione e Zeto», architecture and arts magazine; editor of «Albertiana», organ of the Société Internationale L.B. Alberti; editor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice "Yearbook"; correspondent of "Artes Renascentes”; member of the Comité científico of the Colleción Poliědrica of the Ediciones Asimétricas publishing house in Madrid; collaborates with "Casabella" and "'ΑΝΑΓΚΗ". He was editorial coordinator, with Marco Vitale, of the series "Le Città Letterarie" (Unicopli Editions of Milan).
