EDUCATION
1992: master degree in law at the University of Bologna, Faculty of Law (with honours) with a dissertation in criminal procedure under the supervision of Professor Massimo Nobili.
1993: admission to the PhD school of the University of Bologna;
1997: PhD graduation.he will be PhD Doctor in 1997.
CURRENT POSITION
2014 – present: Full professor of criminal procedure at the University of Bologna.
2011 – present: member of the board of the PhD school at the University of Bologna (with the exception of the Academic year 2017-2018).
PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1996: habilitation to practice law in Italy;
1998 Lecturer in criminal procedure at the University of Ferrara, Faculty of Law;
2000 Associate professor of criminal procedure (IUS/16) at the University of Bologna;
2010 selected as a full professor of criminal procedure.

2001 – present: course of Criminal procedure;
2012 – present: seminar “La giustizia penale sul grande schermo”.
