PhD candidate in the 39th cycle at the Department of Cultural Heritage, University of Bologna, conducting research in archival science with a particular focus on the management, description, and preservation of born-digital personal archives.
Education
Holder of a BA in Modern Literature (2020, University of Bologna), she earned her MA with honours in Book and Document Sciences (2022) at the Department of Cultural Heritage, University of Bologna. In March 2024, she obtained a Second-Level Master's degree in Training, Management and Preservation of Digital Archives (FGCAD) from the University of Macerata, graduating with 110L/110. She also completed the Advanced Training Course in Contemporary Archival Science organised by the Central State Archive for the academic year 2023/2024.
Research Activities
Since January 2026, she has been conducting research at foreign institutions and universities, including the Nationaal Archief of the Netherlands, the Department of Digital History at Aarhus University, and the Academy of Architecture at the Università della Svizzera Italiana.
Since October 2024, she has been carrying out research at the Centro Manoscritti of the University of Pavia, where she contributes to the preparation of archival inventories for born-digital collections of contemporary Italian writers held within the PAD (Pavia Archivi Digitali) project.
As a PhD candidate, she collaborates with the International Research Centre on Personal Digital Archives and with the ALDiNa – Native Digital Literary Archives research group.
In April 2024, she was invited to join the Expert Group on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness (EGEMDP) of the ICA – International Council on Archives.
