Curriculum vitae

Adele is a PhD Student at the Department of Cultural Heritage, University of Bologna. She conducts research in archival science, with a particular focus on the management, description, and preservation of born-digital personal archives.

Education

Graduated in Modern Literature in 2020 from the University of Bologna, in 2022 she obtained with honors a Master's Degree in Book and Document Science from the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna, with a thesis titled "The Formation of Digital Archives of Design Professionals."
In March 2024, she earned a Level II Master’s Degree in Training, Management and Preservation of Digital Archives (FGCAD) from the University of Macerata with a final grade of 110 cum laude.
She also attended the Advanced Training Course in Contemporary Archival Studies at the Central State Archives for the academic year 2023/2024.

Academic Activity

Since October 2024, she has been engaged in research at the Centro Manoscritti of the University of Pavia, where she contributes to the creation of archival inventories for born-digital fonds of contemporary writers as part of the PAD (Pavia Archivi Digitali) project.

As a PhD candidate, she collaborates with the International Research Center on Born-Digital Personal Archives and the ALDiNa Group – Archivi Letterari Digitali Nativi.

In April 2024, she was appointed to the Expert Group on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness (EGEMDP) of the ICA – International Council on Archives.

She participated in the ADISPRO Working Group on the digital and hybrid archives of design studios, organized by ANAI, contributing to the drafting of the "Guidelines for the Formation, Management, and Preservation of Digital and Hybrid Archives of Design Studios" (2023).
