Short Bio

Degree in Architecture, University of Florence; associate professor of Architectural Restoration held courses at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, Ferrara, Ancona Polytechnic, at the School of Mosaic Restoration in Ravenna (Opificio delle Pietre Dure - Florence). He is currently a member of the PhD Steering Committee in Architecture at the Department of Architecture of UNIBO. His research and teaching activities include activities of conservation and management of cultural heritage with particular reference to masonry ruins and archaeological sites. Until 2007 he worked mainly in this field and, as an expert, participated in excavation campaigns in Italy and abroad. He is coordinator of research agreements between Alma Mater and public and private subjects. He is collaborating on the projects H202020 SHELTER, Erasmus+ Programme KA2 UNINET- Cultural Heritage. He is the author of articles, contributions in volumes and essays published in conference proceedings and curator of monographs on this subject.
