Ph.D. in Crop Sciences taken at the University of Bologna, June
23, 1987. Ph.D. dissertation on "Nitrogen fixation in
Soybean-Rhizobium symbiosis".

Doctoral fellow at the Laboratory for Biopolymers by the Swiss
Federal Institute for Technology (ETH) in Zürich (May 1986 -
October 1987). Research topic: solubilization of bacteria
