Born in
Belvedere Ostrense (AN) on 11/02/1946.
A law graduate with honors at 110 and 110 of the Faculty of Law,
University of Bologna on 30/11/1968, discussing a thesis in
criminal law.
He held, in succession, the positions of Assistant Professor of
Criminal Law at the University of Bologna, then to and then
Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Macerata
and Professor of Criminal Procedure at the Faculty of
Macerata.
In 1986 he won the
competition to full professor of criminal law: in that year has
held the Chair of the institutions of Criminal Law at the
University of Salerno, and since 1987 has been Professor of
Criminal Law at the University of Trent until 1991
when he also took a course in criminal law Economy until
1993.
From that year and
still holds the Chair of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law at the
University of Bologna. He was also Director
of the School of Legal Studies at the University of Bologna.
Talks, lectures and
seminars in various Italian and foreign universities.
He is the author of
several monographs on criminal law (including "The abuse of power
in the Criminal Law", "Facilitation and competition for people in
the crime"), works of some manuals (including "Criminal law and
criminal cases" and " Introduction to
Criminal Justice ") and numerous essays and articles published both
in Italy and abroad.
Collaborate and is
part of the scientific committee of many important Italian criminal
and foreign magazines.
He is president of
the Association Franco Bricola bringing together the so-called
criminal lawyers. Bolognese School.
Holding the legal
profession as a penalty.
He was a member of
the Ministerial Committee for Reform of the tax offenses, the
Ministerial Committee for Reform of the Criminal Code headed by
Dott.Nordio (2001) and the Ministerial Committee for Reform of the
Criminal Code headed by Adv. Pisapia (2006).
